On November 26,2013 the Health Resources and Services Administration reported that because of money alloted in both the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Recovery Act, the National Health Service Corps allowed 14,000 health care providers with loans or scholarships so more people could get the care they need. In 2013, as a direct result of the ACA more than $284 million was allotted to such programs.
